1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

¼ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for extra tang)

Instructions

  • Freeze the Bananas:

    • Peel and slice the bananas into small pieces.
    • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
  • Blend the Ingredients:

    • In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the frozen banana slices, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, salt, and lemon juice (if using).
  • Process Until Smooth:

    • Blend until the mixture is thick, creamy, and smooth.
    • Scrape down the sides as needed to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
    • If the mixture is too thick to blend, let it sit for a few minutes to soften or add a tablespoon of milk.
  • Taste and Adjust Sweetness:

    • If needed, add more honey or maple syrup and blend again to reach your preferred level of sweetness.
  • Freeze for a Firmer Texture (Optional):

    • If you prefer a soft-serve consistency, serve immediately.
    • For a firmer texture, transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for 1-2 hours before serving.
