Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ pounds chicken tenders

1 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)

1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Prepare Coating Mixture: In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) with the ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

Prepare Breadcrumb Mixture: In a separate shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.

Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken tender into the mayonnaise mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated. Then, roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray for extra crispiness.

Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tenders are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).

Garnish & Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Lighter Option: Substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a healthier version without compromising flavor.
  • Extra Crispy Tenders: For an even crunchier texture, use crushed cornflakes instead of panko breadcrumbs.
  • Air Fryer Method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Spicy Kick: Add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture for some heat.
  • Storage & Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes or in an air fryer for a crispier result.

  • Best Dipping Sauces: Serve with ranch dressing, honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or spicy mayo for an extra burst of flavor.
